Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Applied Mechanics or Engineering Sciences.
• 2–6 years mechanical engineering experience in a product development environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical drawing, GD&T, dynamics, strength of materials.
• Experience with aerospace materials and elastomers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and qualification of products and technologies.
• Maintain customer contact and meet regularly with customer engineering personnel to present progress.
• Coordinate product development to ensure designs are producible within cost and lead time limits.
• Coordinate the design, analytical, test, manufacturing, quality, materials, and other engineering support required.
• Provide guidance selecting materials and design of experiments to develop products.
