UFP Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Engineer to assist the Advanced Engineering team in developing and integrating medical products from concept to transfer to manufacturing.

You will work with design, testing, and manufacturing to ensure customer requirements are met and products can be produced profitably, using SolidWorks, CAD tools, and statistical methods as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 2 years or less of experience in design or applications engineering.
• Hands-on experience with CAD tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Advanced Engineering team from concept through transfer to manufacturing.
• Define product specifications with customers and manage development through prototyping and design approvals.
• Support customer meetings to update on new product development.
• Provide hands-on design support using SolidWorks and CAD to meet requirements.
• Set up and run samples for product approvals.
• Test materials and designs to demonstrate basic functionality.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and other teams to meet objectives.
• Perform other duties as needed.
