Job summary
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a project engineer to ensure Fleet Power Plant programs are planned, budgeted, and executed effectively. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in a technical field with relevant experience; or master's degree with less experience.
- Experience analyzing large Excel datasets and overseeing shipyard work.
- Familiarity with government contracting, funding guidelines and cost estimating.
Responsibilities
- Support cost estimate and special schedule development for major Naval projects
- Provide programmatic oversight of work performed at the shipyard
- Manage budget and portfolio databases of shipyard work
- Support multi-organizational assessments of major project work
