Job summary

Leonardo DRS in Dallas, TX seeks a Project Engineer to serve as the technical lead and program-facing point for hardware/electronics projects within EOIS. You will own scope, schedule, and cost for work packages and translate requirements into actionable plans and estimates.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, a related engineering degree, and 0–2 years of experience. Onsite work with a 9/80 schedule, relocation available, full-time exempt position.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer/mechanical engineering or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 0–2 years engineering experience; leading technical programs preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain BOE/ROM/SOW for proposals and planning.

Responsibilities

• Execute schedule, cost, and technical performance for assigned projects or new business pursuits.
• Coordinate initial designs, redesigns, and respin efforts across cross-functional teams.
• Oversee daily activities of development team and drive action plans with Program Management.
• Manage CAMs for larger programs as needed.
• Ensure scope understanding and adherence to contractual requirements.
• Present technical reviews to internal stakeholders and customers.
