Job summary

Amity Foundation is seeking an Associate Program Director in California to support the Program Director and supervise counseling staff. This position involves administration of daily program activities and collaboration with the CDCR and local institutions.

The ideal candidate has AOD Counselor certification and extensive experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and retirement plans, with a salary ranging from $7,038 to $9,500 monthly.

Qualifications

• Certified as an AOD Counselor and three years' experience as a certified AOD Counselor.
• Understanding or program curriculum and best practices for implementation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Director and supervise Supervising Counselor(s).
• Oversee the day-to-day administration of program activities.
• Coordinate staff training days with Supervising Counselor(s).

Skills

Understanding of substance abuse effects

Knowledge of AOD programs

Excellent interpersonal skills

MS-Word, Excel, Access knowledge

Ability to develop treatment alliance
