Job summary

The Department of Information Systems in the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno, invites applications for a full‑time, tenure‑track Associate Professor position. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, producing high quality peer‑reviewed publications, and participating in university service activities.

The appointment begins Fall 2026. Applicants should have a PhD in Information Systems or related field and an established research agenda.

Qualifications

• Evidence of teaching experience at the university level.
• Established research agenda evidenced through publications in peer‑reviewed journals in information systems.
• Preferred: Administrative and service experience at the university level.

Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate classes
• Producing high quality publications in peer‑reviewed journals
• Participating in university and other service activities
• Advising PhD students in two or more IS areas (AI, analytics, cybersecurity, programming, etc.)
• Conducting service activities and leadership roles in the department
