First Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

We are seeking an Associate Production Supervisor in Columbia, SC to oversee electrical manufacturing operations, ensuring they meet volume, quality, and cost targets. Reporting to the manager, the candidate will direct operations on one or more production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the production processes in a technical environment, ensuring success of the production lines.
• Evaluate plant performance regularly and recommend operational improvements.
• Manage a team of professionals in the electrical department to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and guide performance coaching.
• Collaborate on plant improvement ideas and project proposals with engineers.
• Provide technical and operational support to project teams.
• Act as a liaison between operations and maintenance teams.
• Train and coach junior operators.
• Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Participate in process development and cost reduction projects.
• Assist in departmental budget planning and expense management.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure compliance with policies.
• Ensure manufacturing standards are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 1 year of electrical wiring experience.
• Strong operational and technical skills, familiar with Flex standards and policies.
• Ability to interpret technical and business documents and communicate effectively.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.
