Corning Incorporated is seeking an Associate Production Manager to support manufacturing operations, driving safety, quality, and productivity improvements in Concord, NC or Wilmington, NC. The role provides strategic and day-to-day leadership to production teams with a path toward a future Department Head position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field required.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or operations experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale projects and process improvements across plant operations.
• Support department operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets.
• Foster a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Provide leadership and direction to production teams and supervisors, including coaching and development.
• Support planning and allocation of labor, equipment, and materials to meet production demand.
• Resolve operational issues using data-driven problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support new product introductions, equipment start-up, and transitions into manufacturing.
