Job summary

Tommy Bahama seeks an Associate Production Manager to lead pre-production and production post Brand Launch, ensuring garments are delivered on time and meet quality standards. You will audit and release final tech packs to vendors and guide cross‑functional pre‑production approvals to keep bulk production on track.

This role coordinates with material suppliers, factories, the QC team and logistics, manages WIP, tracks samples, price tickets and approvals, and resolves production issues to

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in fashion design, business or related field.
• Generally, 4+ years in retail with focus in product development, sourcing or production.
• Excellent understanding of product development, costs and lead times.
• Strong MS Office, especially Excel; excellent math skills.
• Flex PLM experience preferred.
• Blue Cherry experience preferred.
• Production planning, forecasting, knowledge of production process and lead-times.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional decisions.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-production approvals and manage detailed WIP to start bulk production on time.
• Audit and release final tech packs to vendors with complete style details.
• Coordinate with material suppliers, garment factories, QC and logistics.
• Manage vendor price tickets, labels, hangtags and packaging approvals.
• Collaborate with Product Development & Sourcing on capacity planning.
• Track production status and communicate delays to cross-functional teams.
• Support onboarding of new vendors and maintain quoting/booking processes.
• Provide problem solving and corrective action plans as needed.
