Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking an Assistant Product Manager to support engineering, budget planning, and customer interfaces across multiple project stages. The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate cost estimation.

The position involves assisting in design, scope refinement, and bid preparation, with potential leadership of small projects under senior guidance. Travel to sites may be required as projects advance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; P.E. license would be a plus.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in project engineering, application engineering or project management.
• Experience in industrial HVAC, ESCO, data centers or power generation.
• Experience in project cost estimating, risk and vendor management.
• Ability to work in field construction locations and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Application Engineering in developing technical solutions and cost estimates.
• Assist in managing preliminary design for bids; refine scope and pre-award budgets.
• Support Product Manager at project order for engineering, delivery and construction interface.
• May lead small projects under guidance of Product Manager or Director.
• Coordinate with Procurement to ensure materials meet schedules and interact with suppliers.
• Prepare scope-related documents such as Master Document Lists and distribution lists.
• Conduct periodic budget reviews and forecasts to completion.
• Review project accounting data for budget analysis.
