The Operations Project Manager I is responsible for ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of high-quality products by coordinating and managing the activities of Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management, and Purchasing. The role includes verifying that all necessary information such as drawings, specifications, bills of material (BOM), work orders, and materials are available and accurate throughout the manufacturing process. Additional responsibilities encompass shop-floor scheduling, work order creation and maintenance, production resource management, and operations process improvement. The manager will also coordinate with outside vendors and subcontractors as required.
