Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join the Spruce platform team. You will translate business priorities into actionable work, maintain healthy backlogs, and help squads deliver features efficiently in a fast-paced Agile environment.

You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers, supported by strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on learning and delivering customer-focused financial products.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or the equivalent through education and related work experience.
• 1 year minimum related work experience.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily Agile and Scrum operations, including stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Help translate roadmap priorities into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog aligned with squad goals.
• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies; escalate with recommended next steps to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering leads to deliver high‑quality features in a fast‑paced Agile environment.
