Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an Associate Product Manager to support the Spruce platform. You will work with product managers, engineers, designers, and delivery leaders to turn business priorities into actionable work and maintain a healthy backlog for high-quality feature delivery.

You'll participate in Agile ceremonies, evolve backlog readiness, and help translate roadmaps into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria, supporting disciplined, predictable delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent + related work experience.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support daily Agile and Scrum operations, including stand-ups and backlog refinement.
• Translate roadmap priorities into detailed user stories.
• Maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog aligned with squad goals.
• Create and maintain clear acceptance criteria for delivery.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate with next steps.
