They seek an Associate Print / Textile Designer to join on-site in Midtown Manhattan.

Please note this is an on-site position in Midtown Manhattan where we work in office 5 days/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Surface Design, Fine Art, Illustration, or related field.
• Experience in print, textile, or surface design preferred.
• Strong drawing, painting, and digital design skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Attention to repeats, artwork cleanliness, and production readiness.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop CAD layouts to visualize artwork on garments and generate technical packages for vendor communication.
• Build tech packs detailing materials, techniques, scale, and color for accurate sample execution.
• Support clean-up, preparation, and finalization of print artwork across product categories.
• Rework original or vintage artwork into production-ready repeats and engineered placements with senior team input.
• Assist in compiling seasonal artwork packages aligned with design deadlines.
• Support strike-off and sampling processes.
• Upload and manage artwork assets in internal systems and tools.
• Track artwork-related tasks in line with calendars and milestones.
• Assist with seasonal administrative tasks, including archiving and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve team workflows.

We are growing and looking for a full-time, Associate Print / Textile Designer to join the team on-site in our Midtown Manhattan office!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop CAD layouts to visualize artwork placement on garments and generate technical packages for vendor communication
• Build clear and detailed tech packs, outlining materials, techniques, scale, and color to ensure accurate sample execution
• Support the clean-up, preparation, and finalization of print artwork, borders, and layouts across multiple product categories
• Rework original or vintage artwork into production-ready, technical repeats and engineered placements in collaboration with senior team members
• Assist in compiling and organizing seasonal artwork packages in alignment with design and development deadlines
• Support the strike-off and sampling process
• Upload and manage artwork assets in internal systems and tools
• Track and manage artwork-related tasks in alignment with key calendar milestones and deadlines
• Assist with seasonal administrative responsibilities, including file archiving and documentation
• Help identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve team workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Surface Design, Fine Art, Illustration, or related experience
• 1-2 Years of related industry experience preferred
• Strong foundation in print, textile, or surface design, with demonstrated artistic skills in drawing, painting, and digital design
• Attention to detail with repeats and artwork to identify and fix any errors before styles are released to the vendor
• Skilled in preparing artwork for production, including technical repeats and engineered layouts
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Effective multitasker with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with a positive, collaborative attitude
• Ability to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency and accountability
• Enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and tools to support creative development
