Job summary

TRC Advisory in Chicago is seeking an Associate Principal to lead strategic client engagements, shaping growth and profitability initiatives across mid-to-senior leadership.

You will drive full workstreams, mentor Associates, and build strong client relationships while delivering high-impact insights and measurable results.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for being a team thought leader and driving full workstreams while working directly with mid to senior-level clients to develop insight and build alignment.
• Develop and execute full workstreams and serve as lead on insight development for those workstreams. Consistently establish and then meet deadlines with minimal errors.
• Mentor Associates and Senior Associates while answering questions and providing direction. Act as a good teammate, while proactively finding ways to create leverage for senior team.
• Regularly engage with the client and own mid- and senior-level client relationships.
• Actively identify opportunities to create value with clients and communicate in an organized and knowledgeable manner.
• Identify high-value client opportunities, drive appropriate follow-on work, and take lead on firm communication and client development efforts.

• 7+ years of consulting or relevant business experience
