Buro Happold in New York City or Pittsburgh is seeking an Associate Principal Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer to lead complex aviation projects, deliver technical leadership, and manage scope, budgets and schedules. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high performance and compliance with FAA requirements.

The role requires 12+ years in plumbing and fire protection, 10+ years in aviation, a relevant degree, and strong client development skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in plumbing, fire protection, or related field.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Experience leading aviation or complex projects within the built environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical and project leadership on complex aviation projects.
• Communicate with clients and develop strong, lasting client relationships.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and resources.
• Organize technical and financial proposals for new work and contribute to business development.
• Lead Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians, ensuring quality.
