Job summary

Ecolab is seeking an Associate Planning Manager in Green Tree, PA to lead material planning and scheduling for daily operations and strategic TPM initiatives. You will drive lean improvements, optimize inventory targets, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve production challenges.

The role emphasizes leadership, analytics, and the ability to navigate complex situations while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence across the supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field required.
  • 5 years of Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing experience required.
  • Experience leading and/or developing others.
  • Proficiency with an ERP, advanced planning system, analytical system or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Experience navigating through ambiguous and complex situations.
  • Some experience in resolving conflict situations effectively, with minimal noise.
  • No immigration sponsorship is available for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coach the Material Planning and Scheduling team focused on day-to-day tactical tasks.
  • Provide input to the creation of a strategic roadmap and be responsible for execution of TPM pillars and Lean manufacturing, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Optimize planning processes to support delivery, production, and financial (inventory) goals.
  • Work with various internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and implement improvements.
  • Provide direction, delegate and remove obstacles to accomplish goals.
  • Support order prioritization and late order communication to customers.
  • Ensure adequate coverage of the department and backup coverage.
  • Conduct onboarding and cross-training for team members.
  • Provide support as needed to plant operations.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Other areas of responsibility could include sourcing and purchasing goods and services, vendor communication, purchase order authorization, ensuring adherence to the production schedule, identifying/correcting potential production problems, order level service, planning for NPIs.
