The ideal candidate will hold a NC JD and be admitted to the NC State Bar, with 1–5 years of PI experience and proven ability to supervise staff, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with the team.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Active NC license to practice law.
• Member in good standing with NC State Bar.
• 1–5 years of experience handling plaintiff personal injury cases.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with strong client service.
• Experience supervising or coordinating with legal staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury claims.
• Communicate with clients about case status and strategy.
• Draft, review, and prepare demand and negotiation packages.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers and third parties.
• Handle settlement distributions, liens, subrogation, and related interests.
• Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and legal staff.
• Assist with business development and client relationships.
• Attend court proceedings as needed.
