Job summary

Corient Services LLC is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support daily, weekly, and monthly bookkeeping for multiple clients. The role involves vendor setup and maintenance, AP entry in Sage Intacct or Bill.com, and timely review of invoices.

The candidate will handle 1099 processing, journal entries, and bank reconciliations, while maintaining client files and delivering ad-hoc analyses. Strong Excel skills and 2+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience focusing on accounts payable, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and data entry.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct or QuickBooks Online is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bookkeeping on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Perform bookkeeping functions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Vendor maintenance: create and modify vendors; manage W-9 and NDA forms; handle ad‑hoc vendor communications.
  • Record vendor invoices in the accounts payable module of Intacct or Bill.com and submit for review.
  • Complete vendor, credit, and other applications on behalf of clients.
  • Process Form 1099s annually where applicable.
  • Record journal entries for cash transfers, payroll, accruals, asset purchases, capital improvements, and accounting related to clients’ personal assets.
  • Reconcile bank statements, brokerage statements, and credit card statements, including transaction feeds into accounting systems.
  • Maintain client files and records in shared network folders.
  • Respond promptly to client requests.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience focusing on accounts payable, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and data entry.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Preferred experience with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, or similar accounting systems.
  • Expeditious and accurate data entry skills.
  • Self‑starter, independent worker who can communicate well (verbal and written) and build relationships within teams.
  • Core self‑management skills: time management, organization, prioritization, resourcefulness, problem solving.
  • Detail‑oriented, intelligent, inquisitive.
  • Exhibits accountability and ownership.
  • Strives for continuous improvement.
  • Family office experience preferred.
Physical Requirements

The position requires the ability to work in an office environment, including prolonged sitting and computer work. Reasonable accommodations may be provided. The role may require lifting up to 15 pounds. The position is required to work onsite four days per week.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older and have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident for U.S. employment. Proof of work authorization will be required. Must be willing to execute Corient’s Employee Agreement and confidentiality agreements.
