Fifth Third Bank is seeking an Associate Payments Strategist in San Jose, CA to collaborate with Treasury Management Officers and Commercial Bankers. You will grow a portfolio of commercial clients, conduct portfolio analysis, and tailor recommendations to optimize cash flow and reduce risk.

This role emphasizes consultative sales, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration across internal partners.

Competenze

• 2+ years of experience in Treasury Management, Commercial Banking or Payments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to support sales efforts and manage client relationships.
• Working knowledge of treasury management products and solutions.
• Strong communication, organization and client-facing skills.

Mansioni

• Partner with Treasury Management Officers and Bankers to support client coverage and relationship strategies.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned relationships, ensuring engagement and follow-up.
• Participate in client meetings to understand objectives, cash flow, and challenges.
• Identify and support treasury management solutions across payments, receivables, fraud prevention, liquidity and digital channels.
• Prepare treasury reviews, pricing analyses, proposals, and RFP responses to support sales activities.
• Conduct portfolio reviews to uncover revenue growth, retention, and risk-related opportunities.
• Coordinate onboarding, implementation, and service activities for a seamless client experience.
• Ensure compliance with risk and bank standards; escalate issues as needed.
