Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Packer in McKinney, TX to assemble, label, and box items as directed by leadership. The role requires standing long hours, safety awareness, and reliable attendance in a full-time, non-exempt position.

Responsibilities include packing HDG items and maintaining a clean work area, with OSHA PIT training and at least 1 year of related experience preferred. Benefits and quarterly bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA Powered Industrial Truck Training required.
• 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and training.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, label, and box various items, including HDG items returned from processing and items from other departments (about 95%).
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment in the area (about 5%).

Able to use protractor to measure to accurately measure angles.Safety: Able to consistently prioritize safety by demonstrating a safe work practices by promoting a safe work environment.
