The role focuses on inventory control using the CMMS, processing work orders, and coordinating with vendors to ensure parts are available for equipment and facility needs. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, OSHA PIT certification, at least 1 year in a stock room within manufacturing, and strong safety awareness with reliable attendance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inventory management to ensure parts are on hand for equipment and facility needs.
• Process work orders by tracking inventory and parts; close work orders.
• Create and issue purchase orders; coordinate with vendors.
• Arrange waste oil pickups and coordinate lubrication product deliveries.
• Support production staff and assist with projects as needed.

Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to issue inventory items to work orders, close work orders, order parts and create new inventory part locations and identifications.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)Inventory management to ensure all necessary parts are on hand for equipment ran and facility means. This is managed using the Maintenance Connection software. (50%)Process work orders by tracking inventory, ordering parts. Once completed, close work orders. Run usage reports at specific intervals for Maintenance department. (25%)Create and issue purchase orders and coordinate with vendors. Arrange waste oil pick ups and coordinate lubrication product deliveries when required. (15%)Support the production staff and assist with projects as needed. Able to pass OSHA Powered Industrial Truck training. Must wear required PPE.Dependability: able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance.Mathematical Reasoning: able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, fractions and decimal equivalents.Language: able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Able to write routine reports and correspondence.Problem Solving: able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Analysis/Reasoning: able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Communication: able to effectively communicate in group settings and one on one.Measurement: able to read a tape measure to 1/16” tolerance and to use calipers and possible micrometers.Technology: knowledgeable in Microsoft PC environment, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
