Job summary

Lotte Global Logistics North America (LGLNA) is seeking an experienced operations leader for OOG freight projects in North America. You will oversee SOP creation, field support at project locations, and coordination with drivers and vendors while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in OOG operations, strong dispatching and equipment management skills, and proficiency with TMS and Real-time Tracking tools. Travel about 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in Out-of-Gauge operations.
• Experience in dispatching and equipment management.
• Knowledge of transportation and logistics in OOG sector.
• Experience with transporting large-capacity batteries (ESS) is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

• OOG Operations: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Out-of-Gauge (OOG) operations is required.
• Dispatching & Equipment: Proven experience in dispatching and equipment management, including specialized trailers.
• Logistics Expertise: High level of experience and understanding of overall transportation, specifically within the OOG sector.
• Industry Preference: Experience in transporting large-capacity batteries, such as ESS (Energy Storage Systems), is a significant plus.

IT & Technology Proficiency

• Logistics Systems: Must be proficient in using TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and Real-time Tracking systems.
• Digital Tools: Comfortable using various applications and mobile platforms for operational efficiency.
• MS Office: Proficiency in MS Office is essential.

Communication & Language

• Bilingual Proficiency:Fluent in English and Korean preferred.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with truck drivers and third-party vendors.

• Field Support: Provide on-site support and management at project locations as needed.
• Travel: Business travel is expected to be approximately 20%.
