About the Role

Located in Huntsville, AL, this on‑site position supports BDS programs, including Patriot Advanced Capability‑3 (PAC‑3). Primary duties include: First Article Inspection (FAI), Corrective Actions, Non‑Conformance Review (NCR) disposition, reviewing and approving engineering drawing requirements and work instructions, and interfacing with customers and stakeholders. The role follows a 4x10 shift schedule on Shift A, Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with potential variable shift training as needed.

Associate - Level 2
  • Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.
  • Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities.
  • Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
  • Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
  • Provides material review dispositions for non‑conformances.
  • Analyzes non‑conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
  • Works under general supervision.
Mid‑Level - Level 3
  • Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
  • Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.
  • Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.
  • Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
  • Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
  • Provides material review dispositions for non‑conformances.
  • Analyzes non‑conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Recommends corrective actions to address non‑conformances.
  • Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
  • Works under general direction.

100% on‑site work is required.

A U.S. Security Clearance (Secret) is required. This reflects the U.S. Government requirement for U.S. citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • Bachelor’s of Science in an accredited engineering, technology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry program.
  • Experience with AS9100 or a similar Quality Management System standard.
  • Experience presenting technical briefings to various audiences.
  • More than 1 year of quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation.
  • More than 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.
  • More than 1 year of root‑cause corrective action experience.
  • More than 1 year of experience with Non‑Conformance (NCR) processes.
  • FAI experience.
  • Experience reading, understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
  • Level 3: 3+ years of related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience with line stock checks.
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams.
  • More than 3 years presenting technical briefings to various audiences.
  • Experience communicating with employees, customers, peers and multiple leadership levels.
  • Experience building cross‑functional teams and partnerships with engineering and other stakeholders.

Relocation is possible for eligible candidates.

A shift (Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM).

Total Rewards: Competitive base pay with variable compensation opportunities. Pay ranges: Associate – Level 2: $79,900 – $108,100; Mid‑Level – Level 3: $95,200 – $128,800. Applications accepted until Jan. 06, 2026.
