Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the St. Louis Air Dominance Supplier Quality Team located in Berkley, MO.

Position Responsibilities
Level 2
  • Assists with audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.
  • Documents audit and assessment results.
  • Inspects or verifies less complex products for compliance.
  • Monitors supplier quality related activities and reports issues.
Level 3
  • Manages Supplier Nonconformance Responsibilities and issues Supplier Corrective Actions.
  • Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions and recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.
  • Performs problem-solving through analysis of metrics to improve supplier performance.
  • Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
  • Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.
  • Documents and reports audit and assessment results.
  • Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements.
  • Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or future work.
  • Resolves routine issues and concerns.
Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in Quality.
  • 1+ year of experience working with supplier quality processes.
  • 1+ year of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation.
  • 1+ year of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
  • Experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry).
  • Experience with First Article Inspections (i.e. AS9102).
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Experience interfacing and presenting to senior and executive leadership.
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements.
  • Experience reviewing contracts, managing suppliers, and/or working with inventory.
  • Experience with advanced product quality planning (APQP).
Travel

This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay Range

USD Level 2 (Associate) $78,200 - $105,800; Level 3 (Mid-Level) $95,200 - $128,800.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
