The Department of Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota Medical School is seeking candidates for tenured (Associate or Full Professor) faculty appointments. The department spans a wide range of research questions with a proven dedication to team science and collaborative work.
We are particularly interested in individuals whose research programs incorporate non-human primates, computational models, and/or innovative imaging or electrophysiological approaches. The overall vision is to promote synergy across disciplines in our medical school to advance foundational science and discovery as well as preclinical research. Basic scientists from diverse backgrounds, including neuroscience, physics, engineering, pharmacology, psychology, chemistry, biology, and computational science are encouraged to apply.
Strengths at the University of Minnesota include: the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research, the Institute for Therapeutics Discovery and Development, the Clinical and Translational Science Institute, the MnDRIVE initiative, the UMN Viral Vector and Cloning Core, and the UMN Imaging Center.
