Job summary

Asure Software Inc. is hiring an Associate Software Engineer in Addison, TX to join our R&D team. You will build scalable backend APIs, work with .NET, Node.js/TypeScript, and Terraform, and collaborate with senior engineers and product teams. A strong foundation in backend development and database design is essential.

You will design, test, and support software solutions, participate in Agile ceremonies, and help improve reliability and performance while aligning with our HCM platform goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/SE/IT or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing backend services and APIs using C# and .NET.
• Working knowledge of SQL databases and database design concepts.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and services.
• Build and enhance APIs using .NET technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Develop and support applications using modern software engineering best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployment activities using Terraform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and performance issues.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.
• Participate in Agile software development processes.
