Job summary

Asure Software, based in Dallas, TX, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build cloud-native microservices for Tax within our HCM platform. You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and developers across the organization to deliver scalable solutions in a fast-growing tech environment.

Role emphasizes full-stack development with .NET Core/Framework and modern JavaScript (Vue/React/Angular), plus AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform for cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years in full-stack SaaS software engineering.
• Experience with ORMs such as Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
• Strong .NET (Core/Framework) and AWS experience.
• Experience designing microservices in a containerized environment.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures.
• Frontend expertise with Vue.js, React, Angular.
• RDBMS and NoSQL databases knowledge.
• AWS Associate level certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain event-driven cloud native HCM software.
• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using .NET Core/Framework for backend and modern JavaScript frameworks for frontend.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices that are secure, scalable, and well-documented.
• Maintain customer focus and understand your team's charter.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
• Experience with observability, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate on best practices and process improvements.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies including daily stand-up, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews.
