Lightheart Mental Health in Edmonds, WA, is seeking an Associate Mental Health Therapist to join our clinical team. This early-career role supports outpatient therapy, family sessions, and collaborative care with psychiatrists and other providers to empower clients on their path to stability.

The position offers supervision, opportunities for licensure progression, flexible scheduling, and a supportive environment focused on ethical practice, documentation accuracy, and culturally sensitive care

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Eligible for licensure or pursuing licensure with supervision.
• Strong communication, ethics, and confidentiality with diverse clients.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance forms.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists.
