Lightheart Mental Health in Renton is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join a supportive clinical team. You will provide outpatient individual and family therapy, develop comprehensive safety and wellness plans, and participate in case consultations and discharge planning to improve client outcomes.

This role offers collaboration with psychiatrists and other professionals, ensuring timely documentation and billing while supporting licensure progression and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
• Active license in Washington State or eligible for licensure by hire.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development including continuing education.
• Strong ethics and confidentiality commitment.
• Excellent communication and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation efficiently.

Responsabilités

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to each client.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse, and wellness plans to support stable functioning.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorizations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, staff, and other therapists.
