Job summary

Blue United Sourcing is seeking an Associate Medical Physicist to join an established Radiation Oncology team in Valdosta, GA. The role targets a physicist progressing toward full board certification and works alongside an ABR-certified physicist.

You will calibrate equipment, perform complex calculations for external beam and brachytherapy, and support QA and regulatory compliance while ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Medical Physics (or related physical science) preferred.
• Successful completion of ABR Part 1 is required.
• Residency completed or well advanced.
• Board eligible for ABR or ABMP certification.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate radiation therapy equipment and verify safe operation.
• Perform and verify calculations for external beam therapy and brachytherapy.
• Support quality assurance activities and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the clinical team on treatment planning and patient safety.
