Job summary

Blue United Sourcing is seeking an Associate Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team in Valdosta, GA. This role is ideal for a physicist who has completed ABR Part 1 and is well advanced in residency, progressing toward full board certification.

You will calibrate therapy equipment, verify external beam and brachytherapy calculations, support QA and regulatory compliance, and collaborate on treatment planning and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Medical Physics (or related physical science) preferred.
• Successful completion of ABR Part 1.
• Residency completed or well advanced in Medical Physics.
• Board eligibility for ABR or ABMP certification.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate radiation therapy equipment and verify safe operation.
• Perform and verify calculations for external beam therapy and brachytherapy.
• Support quality assurance activities and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the clinical team on treatment planning and patient safety.

Education

Location: Valdosta, GA

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Salary: Approximately $175,000 annually

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week. No weekends or on call!

Blue United Sourcing is seeking an Associate Medical Physicist to join an established Radiation Oncology team.
