Zusammenfassung

Biogen is seeking an Associate Medical Director, Rare Disease, to drive the US medical strategy for FA within the NA Medical Affairs team. You will lead scientific oversight of external communications and partner with US Field Medical, Global Medical, Clinical Development, Epidemiology, Pharmacovigilance, Commercial and Market Access to address US insights and needs.

You will manage Advisory Board activities, contribute to congress deliverables, and ensure alignment with global medical strategy

Qualifikationen

• MD/PhD/PharmD or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years pharma industry experience, preferably HQ-based Medical Affairs and/or Field Medical roles.
• Substitution of industry work with relevant clinical practice experience in Rare Disease may be considered.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute the US Medical strategy for Rare Disease FA, aligned with global strategy.
• Lead Medical input in the Promotional Review Committee (PRC) process for compliant communications.
• Serve as a key US Medical contact for cross-functional partners (US Field Medical, Global Medical, Clinical Development, etc.).
• Coordinate with global/regional affiliates to ensure US activities align with global medical strategy.
• Drive Advisory Board activities and contribute to congress deliverables and datageneration initiatives.
