Biogen, Inc. is seeking an Associate Medical Director for Rare Disease in the US to help shape the medical strategy for FA assets.

You will collaborate with Global Medical, Clinical Development, Epidemiology, Pharmacovigilance, and Commercial teams to ensure aligned, compliant, and impactful communications and activities. You will lead Advisory Boards, contribute to congress deliverables, and provide medical oversight to ensure the successful execution of the US Rare Disease program in line with

Qualifications

• MD, PhD, PharmD or comparable advanced degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical industry and/or HQ Medical Affairs or Field Medical roles.
• Strong knowledge of US regulations as relevant to Medical Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and execution of US Medical strategy for Rare Disease (FA).
• Lead internal PRC process with strategic input and scientific oversight for external communications.
• Serve as US Medical contact for cross-functional partners.
• Align US activities with global medical strategy and communicate insights to Global Medical.
• Support local business needs with medical insights for commercial teams.
• Build relationships with KMEs, healthcare institutions, and advocacy groups in FA landscape.
• Develop/adapt medical materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive Rare Disease medical strategy execution via Advisory Board events and data-generation initiatives.
