Biogen is seeking an Associate Medical Director for Rare Disease in the US to drive medical strategy for SMA and ALS. You will collaborate with Global Medical, Clinical Development and Field Medical to ensure alignment with global strategy and local needs.

Responsibilities include leading advisory boards, preparing medical materials, and supporting data generation initiatives across products in development and lifecycle management.

Qualifikationen

• MD/PhD/PharmD or equivalent advanced degree required.
• Minimum 3+ years of pharma industry experience; HQ medical affairs preferred.
• Experience in Rare Disease, SMA or ALS is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to US medical strategy for Rare Disease, SMA & ALS assets and pipeline.
• Serve as US Medical contact for cross-functional partners (Field Medical, Global Medical, Clinical Development).
• Collaborate to align US activities with global medical strategy and insights.
• Develop and adapt medical materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead Advisory Board meetings and congress data generation initiatives.
