Providence Covenant Medical Group is seeking an Associate Medical Assistant (MA I) to support licensed practitioners by delivering basic patient care and handling administrative tasks. The role emphasizes adherence to policies and patient-focused care in a respectful team environment.

Eligible candidates may receive a $2,000 sign-on bonus for external hires meeting payment conditions. Benefits and compensation begin on the first day of employment, with prorating for fractional full-time

Formación

• Graduate of a school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
• Military medical training or at least 1 year of relevant clinical work experience with MA duties.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.

The Associate Medical Assistant (MA I) works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients. Basic patient care needs will be met though both administrative and clinical duties. An Associate Medical Assistant (MA I) is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

$ 2,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. For eligible positions with an FTE of less than 1.0, the sign-on bonus will be prorated based on FTE.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training - Graduate of a school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistantsOr
• Coursework/Training - Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship programOr
• Coursework/Training - Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forcesor Minimum one year of work experience in a role similar to a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification
• 6 monthsexperience providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• 6 monthsexperience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR).
