RBC in Jersey City is seeking an Associate on the Market Data Services Compliance team to ensure real-time data usage complies with licensing and exchange policies. You will focus on risk mitigation, audit readiness, and policy enforcement across applications and user populations.
The role collaborates with business lines and tech partners to maintain compliance, drive cost efficiency, and guide junior team members on global exchange frameworks.
The global Market Data Services (MDS) team operates under the Chief Operating Officer and consists of three sub-groups (MDS Administration, MDS Solutions and MDS Compliance) who engage, strategize and support enterprise-wide businesses and stakeholders.
The Associate on the MDS Compliance team is responsible for ensuring that the organization's use of real-time market data complies with vendor licensing agreements, exchange policies, and internal governance frameworks. This role focuses on risk identification and mitigation, audit readiness, policy enforcement, and controls around how market data is consumed across applications, platforms, and user populations. The role is non-technical and operates at the intersection of compliance, vendor management, and business stakeholder engagement.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $95,000 - $125,000 depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs. You have the potential to earn more through RBC’s discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
