Groe Advisors LLC in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support daily production targets, participate in job rotations, and maintain GMP and ISO compliance across the value stream. You will collaborate with team members, contribute to 5S practices, manage Kanban levels, and help identify waste while ensuring safety and quality in a medical device manufacturing environment.
The role emphasizes flexibility, cross-training, and continuous improvement through Lean methods and
? Assist other Manufacturing Technicians to meet KPI’s related to team
performance.
? Participate in job rotations and cross-training activities as directed by the
Manufacturing Supervisor to support workforce flexibility and business needs.
? Work collaboratively with team members to support daily, weekly, and monthly
production targets, including shifting between work areas as needed to help the
team meet business objectives.
? Meet all established requirements for product quality.
? Meet established output goals for each assigned operation.
? Ensure compliance and maintain accuracy with GMP requirements of all
operation/inspection procedures and device history records.
? Develop a good working relationship with other business departments.
? Inform Manufacturing Supervisor of any quality issues or findings.
? Highlight inventory control issues to dedicated inventory specialist, seeking timely
resolution on issues.
? Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area using 5S methodologies.
? Maintain proper Kanban levels and locations within the Value Stream, rotating
between areas as needed to support workflow.
? Identify waste, contribute continuous improvement ideas, and support the
implementation of approved improvements using Lean manufacturing concepts.
? Adherence to data entry requirements on internal MES, NCP & parts ordering
systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
? Familiarity with ISO and GMP requirements related to the Value Stream’s ability
to produce product.
? Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in oral
and written form.
? Knowledge of product build, test, and manufacturing processes.
? Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
? Basic understanding of 5S, Lean manufacturing, and problem-solving methods.
? Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to participate in job rotations, cross-
training, and changing production priorities as required.
? Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
? Understanding of safety as it relates to their work environment.
