Pro Staff is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Technician in Acton, MA, for a weekend schedule on highly automated production equipment. Pay ranges from $26.40 to $30.00 per hour, with 12-hour shifts Friday to Sunday.

This hands-on, contract role focuses on machine operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced facility. The candidate will set up and run automated equipment, monitor processes via HMIs, and perform basic inspections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with automated equipment and computer-based systems.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with robotics, HMIs, or cleanroom/medical device manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and perform basic maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot machine faults, clear stoppages, and support equipment repairs
• Monitor production processes using HMIs
• Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges
• Maintain material flow and ensure production schedules are met
• Generate work orders and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Support equipment validation, new product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow GMP, safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized production environment

• Weekend Nights | Friday - Sunday | 6:00 PM - 6:00AM

Pay: $26.40 - $30.00 per hour

We are seeking a mechanically inclined Associate Manufacturing Technician to support highly automated production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on contract opportunity is ideal for candidates with machine operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, or manufacturing experience who enjoy working with advanced automation and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and perform basic maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment

• Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges

• Follow GMP, safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures

Physical Requirements

• Stand for extended periods throughout a 12-hour shift
• Frequent walking, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
