Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer or Associate Quality Engineer to join its Puerto Rico operations.

The role collaborates with Supervisors, Engineers, and Operators to drive continuous improvement, resolve technical challenges, and support operational excellence while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

This position may involve sustaining engineering to maintain long-term effectiveness of processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Knowledge of US and non-US regulations.
• Proficiency in Manufacturing/Process Engineering.
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally to resolve Quality/Engineering issues.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Desirable: Basic Statistics knowledge.
