This is a Pipeline requisition for future opportunities in 2026 & 2027. Associate Manufacturing & Quality Engineer for Abbott in Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

• The Associate Manufacturing Engineer or Associate Quality Engineer serves as a key engineering resource supporting manufacturing operations.
• Collaborates closely with Supervisors, Engineers, and Operators to drive continuous improvement initiatives, resolve technical challenges, and support operational excellence.
• Responsible for contributing to quality, safety, compliance, productivity, and process performance objectives while acting as an engineering representative within the manufacturing environment.
• Role may also include sustaining engineering responsibilities to support the long-term effectiveness of manufacturing processes and quality systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Basic knowledge of applicable US and non-US applicable regulations.
• Knowledge and proficiency in the application and principles of Manufacturing/Process Engineering.
• Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally to assist with resolving Quality/Engineering issues.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in both English and Spanish
• Knowledge of common office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

The base pay for this position is $13.18 – $25.02/hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
