Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to support CRM manufacturing operations. You will work with line supervisors, Quality, and Operators to improve yield, quality, and safety on the assigned line, implementing fixes and toolings as needed.

The role emphasizes problem solving with DMAIC and line-change management, plus participation in training and CAPA activities. B.S. in engineering and bilingual English/Spanish are required.

Qualifications

Requires a B.S. in engineering discipline.
Knowledge of US and international regulations.
Fundamental Manufacturing/Process Engineering skills.
Excellent English and Spanish communication.

Responsibilities

Own line output, safety, yield and quality improvements.
Identify defects and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with QC, Mfg, Quality, and Operations to triage issues.
Lead line change management and CAPA support.
Support training and certification programs.
