Associate Manufacturing Process Technician

Position Details

• Recruitment Executive at Omiz Staffing Solutions/ApTask
• Working Hours: 6am - 6:30pm
• Schedule: 3 days in week 1 (Mon, Thurs, Fri), 4 days in week 2 (Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun). Must work every other weekend.

Ideal Candidate

Entry level with a flexible schedule, strong work ethic, able to stand for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Prior manufacturing experience is not required but a plus.

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
2. Maintain machine uptime, clear faults, and resolve stoppages on automated equipment.
3. Conduct routine manufacturing operations such as dispensing raw materials, reconciliation, line clearance, basic analytics, and record transactions.
4. Assist in reviewing documentation (procedures, logs, audits, batch records).
5. Train staff on manufacturing tasks and equipment use.
6. Use HMIs to identify alarms and correct line stoppages.
7. Ensure components and products are available for continuous operation.
8. Conduct equipment inspections and generate work orders in Maximo system.
9. Troubleshoot mechanical errors, safety issues, or inefficiencies.
10. Partner with cross-functional teams for process improvements.
11. Support material inventory and electronic batch records using computer systems (SAP).
12. Oversee equipment/process validation protocols independently.
13. Follow SOPs, GMPs, and safety procedures for material handling, record-keeping, and packaging.
14. Report discrepancies to supervisors to maintain quality and safety standards.
15. Train colleagues on manufacturing processes, equipment, and skills.
