Quality Consulting Group - Manufacturing Technician

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our team. In this role, you will work with a dedicated team, contributing to a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards, under limited supervision.
  2. Maintain machine uptime, clear faults, and resolve stoppages on automated equipment.
  3. Conduct routine manufacturing operations such as dispensing raw materials, material reconciliation, line clearance, basic analytics, and record transactions.
  4. Review documentation related to procedures, job plans, logs, audits, and batch records.
  5. Assist in training team members on manufacturing tasks and equipment use.
  6. Use human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify alarms and correct line stoppages.
  7. Ensure component and product availability for continuous operation.
  8. Perform equipment inspections and generate work orders in Maximo for emergency, corrective, or preventive maintenance.
  9. Troubleshoot mechanical errors, safety issues, and operational inefficiencies.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or High School/GED plus 1 year of related experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing or operations.
  • Proficiency with computer systems supporting material inventory (SAP) and electronic batch records.
  • Knowledge of equipment/process validation protocols.
  • Ability to follow standardized operating procedures safely, including material handling, record keeping, assembly, and packaging.
  • Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Availability to work from 6am to 6:30pm, alternating weeks: Mon, Thurs, Fri one week; Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun the next week.
  • Must work every other weekend.
