Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer in El Segundo, CA to join the Manufacturing Engineering Team. The role involves providing manufacturability guidance to engineering and supporting various systems integration on the production floor.

Responsibilities include tool design reviews and optimizing operations to reduce costs while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance. A STEM degree and hands-on production experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Interface with leadership, clients, and vendors.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Engineering regarding manufacturability of designs.
• Participate in tool design reviews to reduce build times and program costs.
• Define sequence of operations for product builds and initiate corrective actions.
• Provide liaison support for Engineering to influence low production costs across electrical, hydraulics, fuels, fluids and propulsion systems.
