Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Graniteville, SC is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to support operations and improve processes for safety, quality, cost, and delivery. This full-time role operates on a compressed schedule (Mon–Thu) at the Aiken, SC location, with relocation not available.

You will analyze designs, specify tools and processes, document improvements, and contribute to control strategies to drive manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 4 years in design, assembly or manufacture of internal combustion engines.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship; no visa sponsorship.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and terminology.
• Strong analytical ability for complex and unusual problems.
• Ability to interpret prints and drawings; effective communication skills.

Position Summary:

Provide technical support to operations and execute Manufacturing Engineering activities to develop, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes and/or methods of manufacture, which are capable of meeting and continuing to meet business and customer requirements for safety, quality, cost, deliver rate and lead time (SQCD).

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or engineering technology, or 4 years of engineering experience in design, assembly or manufacture of internal combustion engines.

Preferred Requirements:

• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and terminology

Daily work is performed in a general manufacturing, office, and test cell environment. This position has a compressed work schedule (Monday through Thursday).

Pay ranges for remote employees are based on the state where the employee resides and may vary from the posted range.
