Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Aiken, SC is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical support to operations and drive manufacturing processes improvements. The role emphasizes safety, quality, cost, delivery, and lead time in a compressed Monday–Thursday schedule.

You will assist in assembly processes, analyze designs for best manufacturing fit, specify tools and processes, and document improvements while helping develop statistically based control strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or engineering technology, or 4 years of engineering experience.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and terminology.
  • Strong analytical abilities for complex problems.
  • Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and related gauges.
  • Ability to interpret prints and drawings.

  • Provide daily assistance and support to assembly processes.
  • Analyze product designs for the best fit method of manufacturing.
  • Specify tools, equipment and process to produce a part and assemble an engine.
