Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking an Assoc Mgr Supply Planner to develop and implement a master production schedule and inventory strategy. You will support customer service goals and drive financial objectives by coordinating supply across multiple plants and teams.

The role requires 3+ years in production scheduling or supply planning, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years progressively responsible experience in production scheduling, inventory management, or supply/operations planning.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving abilities with independent work style.
• Excellent communication and ability to partner across functions; proficient in MS Office/PC tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain planning system settings, calendars and attributes to create a constrained rough-cut master schedule.
• Build and manage feasible 18-month production schedules supporting sales goals, inventory targets and product age objectives.
• Coordinate product supply through exception management, capacity analysis, ACC feasibility input and new item integration.
• Manage FG/intermediate inventory targets, item versions, deployment settings, safety stock opportunities and aged/unsalable risk.
• Maintain Kinaxis/SAP production/ATP information and support annual planning, analysis and continuous improvement activities.
