Job summary

AspenTech is seeking an Associate Manager, Software Quality Engineering to lead testing for our OT products, shaping test strategies, and delivering robust automation. You will guide a team in a fast-paced, cross-functional, Agile environment across API, UI, and non-functional testing.

Responsibilities include defining requirements, building test plans, leveraging CI/CD, and driving quality standards with R&D and Product Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3-8 years' work experience with proven technical leadership.
• Ability to independently lead technical task planning, execution, and results.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (pytest, Playwright, Selenium).
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments; scripting in Python, Perl, and Shell.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members providing guidance, task progress, and career development.
• Engage with cross-functional and international teams in an Agile environment.
• Lead analysis of requirements, creation and execution of test strategies and test cases, and defect reporting.
• Design, build, and maintain test automation including API, UI, and non-functional verification.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline usage to build, configure, and patch multiple test environments.
• Execute complex manual functional and non-functional tests.
