Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an Associate Manager Software Engineering in Kansas to develop and maintain Java applications supporting PCI compliance and vulnerability prevention.

You will lead migration projects (Java 8 to 11/17, SAML2, Okta integration) and guide peers, while removing vulnerabilities found by Veracode. Strong Linux, cloud, and CI/CD skills are required.

The role offers full-time employment with DXC benefits and an in-person work model with flexible options.

Qualifications

Experience in Java backend development (SOAP/REST).
Familiarity with PCI compliance and vulnerability remediation.
Proficient in Linux and Bash scripting.
Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven, Git).
Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible; Python experience helpful.
Good written and spoken English communication.
Understanding of Agile/SCRUM SDLC.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based applications supporting PCI compliance and vulnerability prevention.
Migrate Java apps from 8 to 11/17 and implement SAML2 migration.
Expand Okta integration for Sabre migration.
Remove vulnerabilities detected by Veracode and improve security.
Mentor and advise other developers on the team.
